[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bact-Scan is an innovative Interreg Germany\u2013Netherlands project in which partners from the Euregio are collaborating on advanced technologies for food safety. The project focuses on developing smart solutions to detect microbiological risks in the food chain more quickly and accurately.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The main objective of Bact-Scan is to develop a real-time monitoring tool which, for the first time, can detect multiple bacteria simultaneously using sensor technology and data analysis. This innovative approach enables producers to gain faster insight into the presence of harmful microorganisms. This allows them to take immediate action and make informed, data-driven decisions that improve food safety.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Within Bact-Scan, we focus on collecting, processing and presenting sensor data. Drawing on our experience in the fields of IoT, data platforms, data analysis and dashboards, we convert complex measurements into clear information that can be used in practice. At Yookr, our focus within the project includes:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/ul>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In doing so, we work closely with the other project partners to ensure that the sensor technology, data analysis and practical application are well aligned. Our aim is to ensure that the results of the measurements are not only technically reliable, but above all understandable and usable for the people who work with them on a daily basis. In this way, we are helping to create a solution that makes microbiological risks visible at an earlier stage and enables producers to make faster and better-informed decisions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The food production chain faces major challenges in terms of the safety, speed and reliability of microbiological analyses. Traditional detection methods are often time-consuming and provide limited insights, making rapid decision-making difficult.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n With Bact-Scan, we are bringing together innovative sensor technology, data analysis and practical expertise from Dutch and German partners. By providing real-time insight into microbiological risks, we support producers in improving food safety, shortening response times and organising production processes more efficiently.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In this way, we are contributing to a future-proof, safe and efficient food supply chain in the Euregio.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
